Production Labor

Production Labor (1st Shift)

Job Description

As a Production Labor, with direction from the Lead and Supervisor, you will produce various food ingredients, learning good manufacturing practices, and how to follow standardized formulas for weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials. This position plays a critical role in food defense and food safety.

$2,000 Sign-on bonus

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be 18 years old to work in a plant job
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. as needed throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least one year production or food service experience preferred
  • Due to the nature, the position requires the ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) including hard hat, eye protection and in some cases other area specific PPE needs (e.g. ear protection, respirator)
Job Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading of materials
  • Packaging of finished products
  • Operate forklift and material handling equipment
  • Cleaning of machines and facilities
  • Employees holding this position play a critical role in food defense and food safety. It is the responsibility of the employee to alert upper management to any food safety issues or concerns that they may encounter.
  • Play a critical role in assessing raw materials for conformance and consistency.
Pay Range

$20 - $21/hour
